Hourly: $15 - $18 per hour, depending upon skills and experience 

This position reports to the golf course Superintendent(s) and/or the Assistant  Superintendent. Grounds keepers should be proficient at most basic course duties  including, but not limited to hand and machine raking of bunkers, mowing of greens,  tees, fairways and roughs, operation of weed eaters, hedge trimmers, backpack  blowers. 

Responsibilities: 

^• Maintains clean and organized works areas on the golf course and maintenance  facility 

^• Mows greens, aprons, fairways, roughs, tees, and other areas 

^• Waters tees, greens and fairways  

^• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as needed ^• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways ^• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds 

^• Ensures equipment is working properly at all times: refills fuel daily, cleans  equipment after each use, returns equipment to designated location, and reports  any equipment problems or failures to Superintendent(s) immediately ^• Permorms litter control 

^• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or manager 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements: 

^• Must possess the ability maintain landscaping on the golf course ^• Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course  operations 

^• Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for  restoration and renovation 

^• Ability to follow oral and written instructions 

^• Ability to complete tasks with limited supervision 

^• Performs all duties to RMS’ maintenance standards 

^• Available for scheduled and emergency overtimeMust be dependable ^• Valid driver’s license
